Working under subcontract to TBB this job required the creation of a sustainable development policy and submission of drawings to show how best to carve up land on and around manmade lakes in Armadale. The lakes were specifically created for major regattas.

The job consisted of a number of constraints. These included heritage issues and Western Power easements over the land. The final drawings included the appropriate allocation of residential and industrial zoning areas where care was taken to ensure road layouts, lot sizes and orientations and vegetation corridors were placed to maximise solar access, cross ventilation and noise reduction.
