Government Service:
Interior Design
The design of interior spaces forms an important part of an
architect's services. Our Full architectural service includes
selection of all interior fixtures, fittings and materials. Our
final drawings include detailed specifications and documentation of
all cabinetwork and internal wet areas.
Alternatively, we are able to provide advice on interior design
as part of our Advisory Service. Our architects and associated
colleagues who work on our public buildings projects are all very
competent in interior designs.

We also recognize that very special public building may need a
separate interior designer. We recommend that the interior
designer be responsible to work under the direction of our
associate architects. The practice can nominate a consultant
when needed or work with the client's selection.
Our associates can obtain quotes for the service.

is included in the commissioned fee. If a comprehensive
specification of all fittings, fixtures and finishes are part of
the architectural full service then it is included.
If fit out of the building is being project coordinated by a
client's representative then an extra fee based on time charges or
a quoted fee may apply for interior design advice and assistance
with coordination. Fees for a total interior design service
depends on the scale of the project but usually is in the 0.5% to
1% of construction cost range.
