Should you choose to build your house on an owner builder basis, we are able to provide support in a number of ways.

We can provide initial advice at the beginning of the design process to ensure that you are headed in the right direction and have considered all relevant aspects. This is undertaken as part of our Advisory Service.

We can also provide a design for you in the same manner that our design process always works, with the exception that we will be in close consultation with you regarding how you intend to proceed with the build.

Throughout the construction phase we are able to provide advice an hourly rate basis should you require our assistance at any stage.

Being an owner builder has never been easy, but in recent decades the government and insurance companies have increase stringency of approvals.  It is impossible for a land-owner to successfully build their own home.  It is not impossible but professional guidance and supervision is needed.  The firm has great insight on how to go about this, given Garry Baverstock set up and operated the award winning  'Tecto Solar Homes' in the 1980s and 1990s and built numerous housing projects for himself and other people.

It is a minefield for the inexperienced and early advice is recommended.
