Our renovation and retrofit design services begin with a consultation. This is undertaken as part of our Advisory Service, and determines the right direction that the retrofit should take.

Should our design services be appropriate for your renovation, the design process follows the same progression as for the design of a new house.

Retrofitting of existing homes to be water and energy efficient is the largest challenge in the developed world over the next 50 years.

Until 100% clean energy is being provided, by governments throughout the world, there is not alternative to control the carbon pollution damage through adapting our built environments to be far more efficient.  This will make new technologies more achievable economically when it is time for the 'big switch' away from fossil fuel sources.

A rate of 8% - 10% for full service generally applies for design and documentation but it depends on the level of detail required to attain a professional result.
