Ecotect Architects is a leading, award-winning architectural practice that provides tailored, professional services to people who want to live and work in climate-sensibly designed homes and buildings that are energy and water efficient.
Ecotect Architects is a national architectural practice that promotes the use of climate-appropriate design, solar energy and energy efficient architecture. We achieve this through communication with our clients and participation with industry, the provision of information and education through courses and publications, and innovative design.
Our clients include commercial and residential property developers, owner builders and project builders, renovators and home buyers and government. We regularly advise urban and regional planners, journalists, government representatives, universities and researchers.
Ecotect-Architects was established in Perth in 1975 by Garry Baverstock. Garry is one of Australia’s most widely recognised eco-architects and pioneers in the design and construction of passive solar buildings. He was awarded an Order of Australia in 2006 for his groundbreaking work in eco architecture and significant contribution to Australian society.
